All you have to do is just sign up for the programs after reading there TOS(Terms of services) and click on the advertisements that they've provided... That's all... It's come with many types like PTR (Paid to read) or PTS (paid to surf)... But generally they are all like same... In PTR programs mostly they give you mails to read and they pay you for that...
